Phase II Survey

We invite you to share your voice and thoughts as we begin work on the second part of our consolidation tool, contextual analysis and scenario development. This short feedback form will help us gauge how well our community understands the school consolidation rubric and gives you the opportunity to share open-ended feedback about your school and the consolidation process. The will be available from August 14–September 26, 2026.

Phase II Feedback Form

The Phase II feedback form was available June 24–July 11 and was shared during the School Consolidation Virtual Open Houses. It measured understanding of draft rubric components and collected open-ended feedback on the consolidation process. Ninety-eight responses were collected from caregivers (82), staff (14), and community members (2). Respondents represented 45 unique campus locations, though 26% came from Barton Hills ES. All Trustee District areas were represented with 33% from District 5, 13% from District 1, and 10% from District 4. Across respondents, average understanding of the rubric tool was 3.36 which represents between basic understanding and being able to discuss with others. Identifying details were removed from open-ended responses and shared with leaders to help inform final rubric details.

Phase I Survey

We have completed surveying caregivers, staff, and community members as part of our first steps in the consolidation process. The survey ran from May 13–June 6, 2025. Thank you to all who participated. Responses from 14,024 participants will help the district understand what matters to our school communities. Findings will be used to refine ideas as we create the consolidation rubric this summer.
