District offers opportunity for reporters to examine issues, speak with Superintendent Cruz
91´ô¸ç continues its Lunch and Learn series for the media with an overview of the district's legislative priorities, including school finance, early childhood education and the state's new graduation pathways.
What: Superintendent Paul Cruz, Chief Financial Officer Nicole Conley and Intergovernmental Relations Director Edna Butts will provide information about AISD's legislative priorities. They also will be available to answer questions.
When: 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2.
Lunch will be provided, beginning at 11:45 a.m. The conversation with Dr. Cruz will begin at noon.
Where: Mathews Elementary School, 906 West Lynn St.
Background: In preparation for the meeting, AISD has developed informational materials for the media to learn how legislative issues affect the district:
