Join the 2nd Annual Eastside Rapid Chess Tournament on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the gym at Eastside Early College High School, 900 Thompson St., Austin, TX, 78702. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with multiple rounds of chess for players, and a mid-day break. Match play and the award ceremony will be completed by 5 p.m.
Any 91´ô¸ç student registered for grades 6-12 during the 2024-2025 school year may participate for free. Online registration will become available on March 17, 2025. A link to the registration form will appear on .
This tournament will feature individual and team trophies with two categories: high school and middle school. Any 91´ô¸ç school with at least five present players may accumulate points towards a team trophy. Chess players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
